FASHION HELMET

“The hat for the third millennium”

Fashion Helmet springs from the solid experience and forward looking passion of the designer Massimo Lonigro who, after a twenty year career spent in well known fashion companies and menswear tailors, has chosen to embark on a new and original project which is, first and foremost, in step with the times.

A collection of helmets totally Made in Italy. A series of demi-jet and jet styles for motorbikes and scooters, made exclusively with the most innovative materials and the use of graphic patterns and vibrant, intense and luminous colours. A new version of the classic helmet, reinterpreted with a functional design and remarkable chromatic sensitivity which firmly places it as the travel accessory par excellence.

The Fashion Helmet line is the cutting edge realisation of a creative direction which incorporates history, quality and skill. A network of collaborators and producers flank Massimo Lonigro also to work on the Licensing activity for helmets signed by Marinella and Terra Modena for the 198 motorbike. It is the only bike in the world entirely hand assembled boasting excellent components in carbon and with an innovative single-cylinder engine made exclusively by HPE, owned by Piero Ferrari.

The Fashion Helmet items are designed for those who travel daily in the city traffic and need to move around quickly from place to place but who want to wear an accessory which satisfies aesthetic needs and has a fun look which enables one to change colour and style according to the day and occasion. So the Fashion Helmet mobile urban kit is completed with a practical carrying bag for the helmet which can also be accessorised and personalised.

Regimental and Pois are the graphic transfers created by Massimo Lonigro, taking colour combinations and shapes which – on the interior and exterior surfaces of the helmet – recall tie designs, linings of formal tailored jackets, colour combinations of sartorial styled garments, all created for and transferred to the “hat for the third millennium”. The shapes are rounded and sinuous for the bodywork in polycarbonate ABS and they are equipped with wraparound glasses and covered with soft materials like anallergic and anti-sweat cashmere.

The chromatic range varies from bicolour styles like Regimental a white/blue stripe and white/fuchsia glitter, to the Pois style with a grey, white or blue background alternated with pois in petrol blue, pink and mustard. And seen as children increasingly travel on motors and scooters, Fashion Helmet proposes an irresistible junior line, mini versions of the adult helmets for kids who want to travel in style with mum and dad.
